Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Ward Burton who made his return to Nextel Cup competition in 2006 with Morgan-McClure Racing will be testing with the team at Kentucky Speedway this week.
Burton who entered three events in 2006, said at the end of the season that he and the team were very close to a deal that would put the veteran in the No. 4 car for the 2007 season. It appears that the deal is done and the team is preparing for next season.
Others testing at Kentucky in the upcoming weeks: Jamie McMurray on Thurs Dec 14; and Elliott Sadler and Scott Riggs on Friday Dec 15th. Scheduled to test next week: on Monday [12/18] Kasey Kahne and Scott Riggs and on Wednesday [12/20] Dave Blaney.
Fans can watch the test sessions free from Turn 3.
