Haas CNC Racing Signs Blake Bjorklund to run for MRD: Haas CNC Racing has signed Blake Bjorklund to pilot the MRD Motorsports Truck Series entry [ran the #06 with Chad McCumbee in 2006] for the first 12 races in 2007. This will be the first foray into the Craftsman Truck Series for Haas Racing as they partner with MRD Motorsports to develop drivers. Bjorklund is coming off of an ARCA Series campaign where he garnered the Rookie of the Year award. The Isanti, Minn. native scored his first ARCA series victory at the Salem Speedway on September 16th. Bjorklund also captured the Bill France Triple Crown Award during the 2006 ARCA season. The award is given to the driver with the most points earned during a grueling three-race span over a nine-day period. The three events consisted of one race on dirt and two (one short track race and one superspeedway race) on pavement which tests the versatility of the drivers.(Moore Consulting Group PR), no word if this ride is the #06 Truck or if McCumbee will return to MRD in 2007.(11-27-2006)
