FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PASS Announces Major Events for 2007

Big Dollar Show on Schedule for July 22nd – Details in Coming Weeks

(Naples, ME – August 18, 2006) – The Pro All Stars Series has helped bring prominence to Super Late Model / Pro Stock racing in the New England area during the past half decade and that trend will continue in 2007 and beyond.  Tom Mayberry, President of PASS Racing announced today that the series is committed to its brand of racing in New England and with its PASS South division as well.

Mayberry wants PASS competitors in the North and the South, as well as those thinking about becoming PASS competitors, and especially the fans of Super Late Model/Pro Stock racing everywhere that the Pro All Stars Series has major plans for next season.  In fact, even though a major Super Late Model / Pro Stock event in New England is now gone, another has already been booked.  The details for that event and other major events for 2007 will be announced shortly.

“We are looking forward to filling a void in our racing community and creating a big show for all of New England,” said Mayberry.  “It may not have the immediate history of the race that was changed this past week, but with the money and racing we will offer, this event we will announce with be good for the fans and racers alike.

“We are already scheduling our events for both the PASS North and PASS South for 2007.  We believe our brand of Super Late Model racing is among the best in the country.  There is nothing like hearing the power and seeing the awesome looking Super Late Model cars.”

The event Mayberry is speaking about is scheduled for the weekend of July 21st & 22nd.  The marquee event of 250 laps of green-flag racing will excite Super Late Model / Pro Stock competitors and fans from all over the country. Full details of this special event will be coming in the next several weeks.

In addition, the PASS 400 Weekend at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME will continue to be a major event in 2007 with the 300-lap Super Late Model race along with all the supporting divisions.  PASS recently announced it will also return at Scotia Speedworld in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the Forbes Chevy-Olds 200 in June and the Atlantic CAT 250 in August of 2007 and 2008.  In addition, White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, NH will be the scene of two PASS Super Late Model races in 2007.

In June of 2007, PASS will also hold the Unity 250 at Unity Raceway, in Maine.  As one of the most successful and best known Super Late Model / Pro Stock racers in New England, Unity owner Ralph Nason knows the thrill and fan appreciation of the ultra-fast SLM cars and is looking forward to another great 250 in 2007.

“The 2007 season for the PASS Super Late Models, both North and South, is going to be a blast,” said Bob Dillner, consultant to PASS as well as a TV commentator for SPEED Channel.  “Super Late Models are bad-to-the-bone racing machines that provide some of the best racing in the country.  Races change for certain reasons as time goes by, but with that comes new opportunities and I think that is what Tom is trying to capture in the northeast and in the south.  We realize there is a variety of other racing out there, but Tom has a dedication to provide the most competitive, balanced and exciting Super Late Model short track racing in the country.

The balance of the PASS Super Late Model schedule will be announced in the coming months, and remember, they’re called SUPER Late Models for a reason.
