Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Kurt Busch was the runner-up in Sunday's Pennsylvania 500, his second second-place finish at Pocono this year.
That allowed him to move up one spot to 13th in the Chase for the Nextel Cup standings. With six races left to make up ground, he's now 166 points out of the top 10.
"At the end of the day you look at who finished where," Busch said. "You have to put the blinders on and keep rolling. That's what we do. Each race is its own separate race."
Busch has big plans for his week off before continuing his comeback attempt at Indianapolis on Aug. 6. He and fiancée Eva Bryan will get married next weekend.
