Canaan (NH) Fair $5,000 to win "Open" Information

On Friday July 14th at 7pm, modified fans can start the Loudon Weekend off with the Northeast Waste 100 presented by Chappy's Concessions, a 100 Lap Tour-Type Modified $5000 to Win Open featuring cars from the TrueValue Modified Series, SK modifieds, and other tour-type modified series, and then go on down to New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race on Saturday afternoon. Adults are $15, Juniors $10, Kids $5, and age five and under are FREE.

Canaan Fair Motorsports Complex is just over an hour (55.5 miles) northwest of NHIS -- Exit 23 off I 93 N• Rte 104 to Bristol/ Danbury• to Rte 4 N to Canaan • Rte 118 N 1/2 mile on Right.

Eligible Cars: True Value Modified Racing Series Legal cars

Thompson, Stafford, Waterford legal SKs with Holley two barrel

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Legal cars


Weights: True Value Modified Racing Series legal cars – Series approved weights

SK Modifieds – 2575 lbs

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Legal cars – 6.8 lbs per CI plus 175 lbs with driver in car


Tires: You may purchase as many tires as you want, but you must start and finish the 100 lapper on the four tires that you qualified on.

All tires MUST be purchased at the track on the day of the race. No exceptions.

No changing tires during the 100 lapper unless you have a flat approved by an official.

No tire softener allowed.


Qualifying Procedure: Draw for starting position in Heats.
