So far so good at Stafford . The Whelen Modified Tour is currently Time Trialing for tonights 150-lap feature. Ted Christopher was rumored to have had engine problems in practice,the team was reportedly making an engine change before Time Trials.

NASCAR MODIFIEDS...WHERE IT ALL BEGAN. LET'S REMIND NASCAR OF THEIR ROOTS.
Mike Stefanik has set fast time for the "Connecticut Classic 150". here is a link to the full qualifying results from the Stafford (CT) Speedway website.
According to reports the race has been a rough one so far.The #6 of Ron Yuhas Jr. spun into the backstrecth wall bringing out the red flag on lap 23. The car reportedly was on fire but everyone is OK.
Another crash on lap 30 involved the #79 of Chuck Hossfeld and the #1 of Rob Summers among others. Summers was black flagged when he returned to the race minus his roof. The #06 of Steve Whitt, #21 of Ken Barry and #29 of Kenny Horton have all been reprted as out of the race before lap 35.
The #79 of Chuck Hossfeld and #03 of Dennis Charette are also out of the event before 40 laps have been completed.
The #1 of Rob Summers has replaced the roof, although a little out of shape.
The #41 of Reggie Ruggiero while attempting to take the lead has crashed with the #2 of Todd Szegedy on lap 64. The #77 of Doug Coby also was damged. Szegedy lost a lap on pit road.
Race is half-way and would be COMPLETE if rain comes with the #28 of James Civalli leading.
Lap 88 the #0 of Danny Sammons crashed out. The #1 of Rob Summers is behind the wall.
Lap 101 #20 of Civalli has slowed and heads to pit road under green. The #12 of Jimmy Blewett has a comanding lead.
Lap 115 #28 James Civalli is out.
Lap 125 #41 Reggie Ruggeiro has spun. The #1 of Rob Summers has gotten his third free pass and is now back on the lead lap.
At lap 136 it is a battle of the Blewett brothers with the #66 John taking over the lead from the #12 of Jimmy.
John Blewett in the #66 takes the win over his brother Jimmy in the #12. Donny Lia in the #18 was third followed by Zach Sylvester in the #15, and Mike Stefanik in the #16. full Results to come.

I think I know what you are refering to Anon. Apparently 2nd place finisher in the SK's Kenny Horton, was disqualified in post race tech. We were going to wait until SMS released the official revised finishes for both the SK, an 1st LLM features before posting anything but the PA announcers gave the word on Joey Ferigno's dq in the 1st LLM feature hence the change in the original post.
That's appreciated an respected Anon, but rumor's are ok here. We post them an usually precede them with a big bold rumor is all. Are only no no's are foul language, and talking about people's personel lives as there is no need for either on any serious racing discussion forum in our opinion.
