Three members of the “Speedbowl Brigade” found spots in the top 10 in practice speeds for tonight’s True Value Modified Series 100. Kenny Horton was the fastest of the 40 TVMS hopefuls with a 14.037in the second practice session.
Following Horton were Tom Fox (14.049), Chris Pasteryak (14.070) were second and third in practice times with Jeff Pearl (14.221) tenth.
Heats and a consi will fill 24 of the 26 spots for the 100 lapper later tonight. Shawn and Diego Monahan secured spots in last Saturday’s SK-Modified feature.
Dave Berghman was fourth fastest (14.074) followed by Eric Berndt (14.155) and two-time TVMS champ Kirk Alexander(14.165) were fourth through sixth in practice speeds.
