Two guaranteed starting spots for next Saturday nights True Value Modified Racing Series were up for grabs in tonights 35-lap SK Modified feature. Shawn Monahan gained the first by winning tonights feature. Second place finisher Rob Summers will be racing with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Jennerstown (PA) Speedway next Saturday, so the other spot was awarded to third place finisher Diego Monahan.
The Monahan brothers will now represent the Waterford (CT) Speedbowl in next Saturday nights first ever visit for the True Value Modified Racing Series.
