Gary Young Jr. from Burlington, North Carolina rebounded from a blown motor last week to score his first ever victory in the Nations Auto Sales Modified race which was the 300th event for open wheel warriors at Ace Speedway. Young who is getting married today held off a determined challenge by point leader Brad Allen in the 25 lap race. Jerry Scott, defending track champion Roy Cook, Steve Paschal, Barry Moize, Jackie Paschal, Wayne Spangler, Jason Cook, Larry Cook, and Gary Young Sr. rounded out the field.
