How many of the 16 drivers who've won 3 or more Waterford Speedbowl Track Championships can you name??  Bonus points if you can name division/qty per...


Includes ALL point divisions, not just Saturday night...  good luck

Well Sid, the obvious ones right off the top:



  1. Bob Potter :       6 Titles Mods
  2. Don Collins  :     5 Titles Mods
  3. Moose Hewitt:   5 Titles Mods
  4. Dick Dunn:        4 Titles Mods
  5. Dennis Gada:    5 Titles Mods
  6. Phil Rondeau :   6 Titles LM
  7. Jay Stuart:      4 Titles LM

All correct!!! 


9 more left - remember it's combined track championships, not necessarily all in the same division (or current division or Saturday division)...


HINTS: 


4 of the 9 are still active....


PS - technically Potter has 3 Mod titles & 3 SK, but the judges say you still get full credit O-dub-ya...

WMT, indeed Gada has 3 plus 2 more - all in a row which in itself is a 'bowl record...


HOWEVER, O-dub-ya listed Gada in his first response... so NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!

  1. Newt Palm: 2 Mod titles, 1 Bomber title

  2. Dick Beurerguard: 2 Mod titles, 1 Non Ford title

  3. Charlie Webster: 1 Mod title, 2 Non Ford titles

  4. Mike Daigneault: 3 Grand American titles

Not too shabby, here's how ya did:



  1. CORRECT  -  Newt Palm: 2 Mod titles, 2 Bomber titles

  2. INCORRECT -Dick Beurerguard: 2 Mod titles, 0 Non Ford titles

  3. CORRECT -   Charlie Webster: 1 Mod title, 3 Non Ford titles

  4. INCORRECT - Mike Daigneault: only 1 Grand American titles

One more from way back... the one from the '70's is still active (huge hint) and the other 3 in the 90's... think non-saturdays...  I'll leave it for a little longer before I throw out the complete answer...

  • 3 - Bruce Thomas Sr (2 Sun MS, 1 Sat MS)
  • 3 - Chris Pasteryak (2 Sat LC, 1 Wed LC)
  • 3 - Jaggs Palmer (2 Sat LC, 1 Wed LC)

Pasteryak also has an "Overall" Legend Car championship from 2002 which combined Wed + Sat, but I didn't include it in the above.  Of the last 3, I thought for sure you woulda got Thomas... but that's a pretty serious list of drivers, huh?
