Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Ok guess I must start the replies on this. First off NASCAR has been going way to far with its fines and penalties in my oipnion an here is why.
The driver has NOTHING to due with an unapproved part on the car, yet he loses Championship points when one is found. Why? Fine the crew cheif and leave it alone.
The hard working guys at the shop and the pit crews have nothing to do with a driver onerinflated ego leading him to wrecking another car. While the driver should be fined, Championship points should NOT be taken away. These guys bust their buts to make it to the top level all in search of the Championship as a team member. Why should they be penalized for their drivers mistakes?
The sponsors shell out millions of dollars to see theri car run up front, and ultimately win the Championship. Why should the car the sponsor lose Championship points because the druver is a cry babay ans swears on national televison. Come on, they swear on cartoons now for crying out loud. I am sure evry kid over the age of let's say...birth, has heard far worst.
Now getting to the girlfriends, as most of you know I have pretty much grown up at the racetrack. Girlfriends, Mothers, Wifes, Sisters, they all fight. I consider it to be entertaining. but at the same time it should be kept under contoll. But is NASCART hurting for money that bad that they will fine Biffle's Girlfriend now. Perhaps they should build some tracks that actually hasve decent racing. Then thery might fill the seats and make money. NASCAR grow up, the way you are acting I think you need a $25,000 fine and a year of probation yourself. We are also going to fine you 25 Championship points.
Well that is just my opinion, take it for what you will. -WMT-

NASCAR MODIFIEDS...WHERE IT ALL BEGAN. LET'S REMIND NASCAR OF THEIR ROOTS.
Harvick says no excuse DeLana Harvick, who takes an active role in the career of husband Kevin and heads up his race team, tried to be understanding when asked about the recent confrontation between Nicole Lunders, Greg Biffle’s girlfriend, and Eva Bryan, Kurt Busch’s fiancée, at Texas Motor Speedway. But Mrs. Harvick, who grew up in a racing family, stressed that disputes between wives and girlfriends are indefensible. “The thing is, we as wives or girlfriends hear a lot of things in the motor-home lot that you guys, the media, never see,” she said. “Because of that, I think there are things on the race track that you see in a different light. “However, there’s absolutely no reason to confront another spouse. They absolutely have nothing to do with what happened on the track, period. It’s inappropriate and it’s unacceptable. It’s a double-edged sword. You’re so emotionally attached to everything that happens. Someone’s safety is at stake. However, there are people there. There are cameras. That’s not acceptable.”(Gaston Gazette)(4-16-2006)
Biffle: Girlfriend's spat "out of proportion": NASCAR officials have yet to speak with Greg Biffle's girlfriend about her confrontation with Kurt Busch's fiancee following a wreck between the two drivers. But Biffle did. Nicole Lunders has been embarrassed by the attention her spat with Eva Bryan received, and Biffle said Thursday that two much has been made about the words exchanged on pit road two weeks ago at Texas Motor Speedway. "It certainly got way out of proportion because there wasn't any big news that week," Biffle said. "Nobody got out of the car and shoved somebody. It was kind of an uneventful weekend in sports, so it was a highlight. She didn't want it to be and we didn't want it to be. I think it's over." Lunders was upset after Busch hit the back of Biffle's car, sending him into the wall and ending his race. The accident caused a hard impact for Biffle, and Lunders was angry because Busch had been involved in several recent wrecks. So Lunders climbed off of Biffle's pit box, walked down pit road to find Bryan and had a brief exchange with her that was caught on national TV. NASCAR officials said they planned to speak with Lunders about it. "She was just upset about it and really felt like Kurt was going to end up hurting somebody, and that's what she conveyed to Eva," Biffle said. "She wasn't mad at Eva one bit. They're friends and they talk and they do stuff."(Associated Press)(4-21-2006)
