Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
OWR, not nearly enough of a fine for Jeffy or anyone for that matter. If you want this stuff to stop then you need to fine drivers lots of CASH. $10,000 for him is like $10.00 to us. He's got more money in one bank than we make in a life time, (take it from him) he won't miss it I'm sure. Nascar is so afraid of the drivers and sponsors they will never fine for much more than that. Tony got a $50,000 fine, but that was after 3 times being a bad boy. Nascar love chevy and all there top drivers and always have. Richie.
I say never mind the fines, park them for a race. It seemed to, (for a while at least) gotten the message across to Harvick when they did it to him, and I think it seemed to have mellowed ol Mr excitement a little to. The thing that cracks me up is it almost seems like the series is run by the sponsors, and the teams are too. Nascar is afraid to park a Stewart or a Johnson in fear of Home Depot or Lowes reaction to it. They (Nascar) are afraid they would pull corporate, track, and event sponsorship from the series. And the car owners are replacing drivers or baseing their decisions on a driver by what the sponsor wants. Now I know their (the sponsors) payin the bills so they should have a say in it, but when your putting drivers in your cars against your own best judgement because the sponsor thinks their more "Marketable" come on....
