SDP, it's not a vega, It's a 1918 rolls royce cadiliac pickup truck with a deusenburg 16 speed Tranmixer, Can't believe you would make that mistake.( Just Bust-en your Butt). No but I just made a call. Dick Watson had a RoadRunner- Red White and Blue #1 that Nascar would not let race, due to the engine being inside the car. Unless it is the Fred Desarro #3? Richie.

I remember something about the Dick Watson car but the second guess you made was correct. It was Bolhers #3 with Freddie driving at SMS. The Arytes always busted Lenny about how his car looked. He had a blue vega body with like white doors and a red trunk and lettered it. It became known as the bi-centenial vega.

I am not sure of the year but we had the Budda's bullet down at the New London Armory for the car show and Lenny just returned from Daytona with his $3 Chevell. He had not cleaned it from coming off the track so Fat AL, myself and a couple of others cleaned the car at the show and I thought Lenny was going to take the car and leave. He was upset to say the least. He said that's how it races and people come here to see race cars. If the want to see new cars go to a dealership.
