Mike Rowe was recently voted the Speed51.com "Driver of The Year". Rowe finished second to his son Ben in the final PASS Super Late Model/Pro Stock standings for 2006.
Mike took several big wins in 2006 including the PASS Pullen 300 at Beech Ridge (ME) Speedway , the TD BankNorth 250 at Oxford Plains (ME) Speedway, and the Atlantic CAT 250 at Scotia Speedworld in Hallifax Novia Scotia.

PASS Favorite Mike Rowe Driver of the Year in Speed 51 Awards
(Naples, ME – February 24, 2006) PASS regular and New England racing legend Mike Rowe of Turner, ME was named the Driver of the Year after several weeks of on-line voting by short track fans across the country in the Speed 51 Short Track Awards.
Mike finished second to his son Ben in the 2005 PASS IBG Super Late Model 2005 points race and added big wins in the PASS Pullen 300 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in September, the TD Banknorth 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway, and the Atlantic CAT 250 at Scotia Speedworld in Halifax, Nova Scotia to impress the fans.
Mike will be appearing at the Race-arama show in Foxboro, MA on Saturday March 4th for the big Saturday afternoon autograph session, Mike will also be appearing with many of his fellow PASS drivers at the PASS Motorsports Extravaganza at Scarborough Downs in Scarborough, ME on March 23rd – 25th.
