I was reading a post ay Jayski that states Garry Nelson will be leaving NASCAR. Nelson is the current Vice President of Research and Development, but will resign to form Nelson & Associates. The company will specialize in safety, performance, and technology driven aspects of motorsports. They will continue to work with the NASCAR "Car Of Tommorow", and NASCAR will be their first customer.
Nelson is a Daytona 500, and Championship winning crew chief. Having won the 1982 Daytona 500 and 1983 Championship with driver Bobby Allison. He won the 500 again in 1985 with Geoff Bodine.
