Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Rumor's are out there that driver Jeff Malave, and the Bannister Motorsports #6 SK team have parted ways, and that Ronnie Silk will be the team's new driver.
Pretty interesting news, as Ronnie was supposed to be running Thompson full time in the Bruce Fontaine #1 that he drove last year at the Bowl. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Interesting indeed Ben. Especially coming off a championship season last year and now Malave and the team part ways. I did some more digging and apparently another rumored canidate for the ride is Zach Sylvester.
I heard jeff wants to race his tour car full time this year, makes sense since the schedule is so short and local it would be easy for him, plus he has some talent.
I remember reading that jeff malave was back with the 6 at thompson sks. I believe it was probably on that ct web board. I dont believe there are any conflicts between the wheelen tour and the thompson sk's this year, so he could conceivably do both. the only night the tour and sunoco mods run the same night is at thompson.
