(Naples, ME – November 29, 2005) Tom Mayberry, President of PASS Racing, Inc. and Bill Ryan, President of Oxford Plains Speedway, Oxford, ME, announced today that the IBG PASS Super Late Model/Pro Stocks will open the 2006 Oxford Plains season on Saturday April 29, 2006 in the New England Dodge Dealers 150.
In making the announcement, Mayberry said, “To start our sixth season at Oxford is great for our series. Oxford has been a big part of racing for many of us since we first started racing, and it’s always great to go home. There’s always a big field of cars attempting to qualify at Oxford, and the competition between the tour drivers and the locals is for real. You ask anyone in the pits, they’ll tell you that a win at Oxford in a pro stock is big, real big.”
The PASS Super Late Model/Pro Stocks will be back at Oxford on Saturday night July 1st for another 150 green flag laps of action, and the July 29 -30th weekend is an off weekend for the PASS teams so they can compete in the 33rd Annual TD Banknorth 250.
