Bobby Allison & Darrel Waltrip are tied for 3rd on most lists of all time wins with 84. But some say Bobby Allison won 1 more race that others say didn't count.

Ok, either no one knows, no one knows where to look or no one cares, but heres the facts.
On August 6th, 1971 NASCAR race #34 The Myers Brothers 250 at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem. NC Bobby Allison won driving a '70 Mustang. The King finished 2nd in a '70 Plymoth, the only two on the lead lap. It was the last big league NASCAR race held at the .25 mile bull ring and appearently there were not enough Cup type cars so a number of Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds & Javlins ran to make up the field. Some statistics count this win for Bobby and some don't which ties him with Darrel Waltrip.
