Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
how many times has this happened??? as of right now that team has 4 stright wins at lowes.... i mean heres a car that DID NOT have a chance at winning, batterys going dead left and right and somehow, someway pulls not only the rabbits foot..... but the whole rabbit out of the hat, watching the race just mins ago i would have thought with 50 laps to go that Jimmy would have failed to win but i guess BEING at lowes , something was about to happen, what a shot that kurt busch gave to the team when he said "hope the car makes it pass tech.."
in terms of the racing itself...... once again we saw a scrap yard in the garage area... if you saw the results you would have thought you saw the results from talladega, only acception is that we saw 12 big ones<tires going off like cannons> i am totally against track leveation<or what ever we must call it> because the results really stink, they have tried it with martys, indy, and lowes.... the 1st time lowes did this track work, we saw a record amount of yellows and both martys and lowes, the track came up and caused a stink of what kind of racing it did produce..... i am very iffy on repaving lowes, because if the track is repaved, we might very well see out 1st 1.5 mile track get to 200 mph, and that is not safe.... but who knows, varable banking like homestead could result wonders for this aging track, in all cases, something needs to be done about that....
halfway into the chase has proved 1 thing, no one is safe, no one can "just" walk away with the title these days, in my prevoius post, classic points revels that tony would have walked away from another massacare type race with a 220 point lead<from about 260 or 270 comming into this race>
next race at martinsville should be a fender bender, where hopefully we will not see the boys toss helmets or wave around 1 finger or get sent to the oval office....... long way to go in the chase and the one with the best luck will come out the winner......
