Dodge Dropping teams? hearing that Dodge will drop it's factory support to some of the Craftsman Truck Series teams, including Ultra Motorsports #1-Ted Musgrave, #2-Jimmy Spencer and other teams. Word is that Bobby Hamilton's teams [#04,#4,#8,#18] are safe, no word on the other factory teams, such as the #62-Steve Park/#77-Brendan Gaughan team.(10-6-2005)
Dodge Cut Back: DaimlerChrysler will reduce its support of the Craftsman Truck Series, limiting its funding to Bobby Hamilton's team. The extra resources will be spent in the Nextel Cup Series. What might have Dodge moving fast is Toyota's reported interest in stock car racing. Toyota is expected to have a car ready for the 2007 Busch and Nextel Cup season.(Augusta Chronicle)(10-28-2005)
