The following press release is from PASS Racing, Inc.
PASS Modifieds To Settle Championship Saturday Night At Star
(Naples, ME – September 30, 2005) The top five in the 2005 PASS Modified Series points are within 25 points of each other. So there will be quite a scramble on PASS Championship Night this Saturday night, October 1st, at Star Speedway, Epping, NH starting at 5pm.
Wayne Allard in the #15 leads the points with Richie Morse in the #34 only nine behind, and Jason Taylor in the #8 is only six points behind Morse. Fourth place belongs to Dana Grover and the #99 who is only eight points behind Taylor, and defending PASS Modified champion Mark Lucas is only two behind Grover.
The PASS points are awarded in increments of two per position, so we will see if Morse can finish five places ahead of Allard or if Taylor can finish eight places ahead of Allard and Morse. The possibilities go on, but we do know it will be quite a scramble before it’s over Saturday night and we crown the second PASS Modified Series Champion.
