Kobyluck Has No Plans for Greenville or Any Other East Races
K&N East - 3/18/11
While many of the headlines in the off-season have been for the young drivers making their way into the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2011, one of the series veteran racers will be missing from the season opener on March 26th at Greenville-Pickens Speedway (SC). Matt Kobyluck, winner of 16 career races and the 2008 series champion, will not be competing at Greenville-Pickens and when contacted by Speed51.com on Friday, had no plans for anything in the 2011 racing season. Kobylucks longtime sponsor, Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino, announced the 2010 season would be their last on Kobylucks #40 cars. Kobyluck did compete in the Toyota All-Star Showdown in January, a race that he is a two-time winner of, and finished 23rd. Kobyluck added that Its been a long time since I wasnt at one of the races, but unless some things happen, you wont see us back at the track.
