The car owners name was Steve Dluzniewski, known as "The Duze"
Speed19 can correct me if I'm wrong but I think he had involvement with Phil Rondeau's Pocono win in Syvester's car. He knew Phil and gave me some great tips on tires while we crewed on the Pro Cup car at New River Valley.
After his local deal he went on to be Jimmy Horton's Winston Cup crew chief.
He was also crew chief for Bobby Gill while he dominated the Hooters Pro Cup series. Last I can find he was listed as the jackman for Shane Hmeil's truck team in 2004.
Actually have the farmer wearing shorts for the 1st time since he was a kid, lol. Man, you need sunglasses just for the white legs!!!
Who'd would have thought the only thing he'd be driving this year would be a Big Bertha! You should see him coaching (from the stands) his daughter playing soft ball. He is enjoying a lot of things he never had time for and he is having fun with it.
We were going to make an appearance at Thompson last night but some people around here decided to move yesterday and brought the first rain we have seen in months.
I miss the Hooters Cup racing, that was a blast, long rides but fun. We do have some good stories, lol.
We were going to Thompson with the SK last night. I've been helping the Monahan's for awhile now. 2001 before the PC deal i was on Shawn's crew, then after the PC deal helped him out ever since.
