In 1977 the NASCAR modifieds competed in the Atlantic Coast 300 at Dover . Two of Modifieds biggest names teamed up to win this event ( one was a relief driver ) . Can you name these two drivers.

Good guesses but wrong . They definitely are two of Modified racings biggest names though .

I believe the car was down 6 laps to the leaders when they traded drivers and the relief driver made up the laps and won. No lucky dogs back then either.

Spd I do not know about that . I only know who the winner and relief driver were . If that is the case it is one heck of a comeback . Just waiting for the answer though .
