Ok, what division was he a rookie in? Cup, right.

You said originally mid '80s time frame, correct?

When you say won a race in NASCARS top 3 divs this year do you mean 1 race total in on of the 3 divs or 1 race in each?

this year ??????? rookie ???????????? not a good rookie class this year at all........... im just gonna throw a name out there....... chuck bown ????? hes from WA.... and did BGNN BGN and a few cup races in his time....... i know i got this wrong but just throwing a name into the air....

3 Yes he won Cup Rookie of the year 9 years after

4 Yes mid 80s,

5 he won a truck race

Dave, no problem.

Ok, after some research, it comes down to 1 of 2 drivers that have won a truck race this year and have won the ROY. One of them is from Tenn and the other is from Ontario, CA. So I will guess Mike Skinner.

it was not mike skinner, skinner never won a Nextel cup race...... kyle busch maybe???? he is from NV though.........

Both have won CTS race(s) this year.

that is true....... but he said west......

not saying your wrong..... but TN is south, there is 2 drivers that are possabillys...... 1 is kasey khane and kyle busch..... my final answer is kasey khane and hes from WA...... his 1st cup win was at richmond in june....

Dave clarified the fact that he had won a truck race & Cup ROY.

Kyle Busch has not won the Cup ROY yet

And KK has won the Cup ROY but not a CTS race in '05

He also said Skinner was correct and wanted to know who was the man from Tenn.
