Waterford Speedbowl LIVE News & Results 9/03/05


Sorry about the delay with news from the bowl, but we are here now and fielding calls from the track.  Tonight's action began with a Mini Stock feature, and they are currently running the Legends event.  Tentavtively, the SK Modified will be next, followed by a guest appearance of the Allison Legacy series, and then the Late Model and Sportsmen events.

The Legends race has run, and with each and every driver sending their best to Vin Esposito for a speedy recovery from those painful fractures he suffered on Wednesday night at the track.

A full field of 26 cars took the green for the SK feature.  No real controversy, but plenty of spins and banging plagued the action.  Joining tonight's field was SK rookie driver from SMS, Jess Hilger, Elliott Beverage, and Ryan Libbey in the Bergenti #84.

The Allison Legacy series feature ran without a hitch..

and the Late Model feature has also run and taken the checker.  Rob Summers did substitutue for Dennis Botticello who had a famil;y committment he had to attend to.
