this is great news for the mods i hope this is true because to have the real things on the game will make it seem more real than making stuff up they should also put some legends on their like bugsy,baldwin,cook,evans,bodine,bouchards,sacks, and who ever else.

Real drivers and Real Tracks, Wow that is a big improvement from Nascar 2005(which also had the former Fetherlite Mod Tour in the game). That should really help to get some publicity out there. I'll be sure to find out.

Chris we were told at the drivers meeting at the first Stafford race that the game would feature actual drivers from the Tour . It definitely would be AWESOME to have Modified Legends included.I would love to race as Richie in an old coupe .

I can not confirm the real tracks , but I do know for sure about the real drivers.The publicity indeed will be very good for the Tour and Modifieds in general.

I just saw the commercial , pretty cool that they ONLY show the Modifieds and Cup cars . could this be the beginning of the Modifieds becoming as popular as they should be ?

Sad news here fans , according to a few post over at MSS , the game DOES NOT feature REAL drivers . Seems the boys at NASCAR have let us fans down once again , but anyone who has followed the modifieds knows this is not unusual . Perhaps a few E-mails to the boys in Daytona may explain what went wrong .

And while we are at it maybe we can ash where the pen went to sign the TV deal as well .

Yeah I figured it would be to good to be true. The problem they have is lisence and permission to use names and sponsors etc. I also personaly think the staff do not have enough time or dont feel like taking the time to research and get these guys in. I can personally tell you from having played Nacar 2005 that there are tracks that a very a like Thompson, Stafford and Wateford.

Yeah PAT there defintely are VERY similar tracks . the thing that gets me is the annoucements that were made by NASCAR officials .But is is not the first time we have been lied to by them . At least the Modifieds are on the game , it is a start .

Well I checked out some of the screen shots , and while they are not the REAL Modifieds the cars look damn good . This game should be pretty cool , anyone that has it PLEASE post your feelings about it . I will be getting mine soon.

He dbl E, when you say there are tracks like TIS, SMS & WSB is that because there are a lot of wrecks and bad calls, lol?

Getting the Mods on there is the 1st break. The licsensing and all would be to costly at first. I'm sure if they added them it's because some Cup guy's race them for publicity and appearance $$$ and they are not really after the WMS but for Tony Stewart and such unless the Frances like Teddy as much as the Arutes.

It would be nice to get the mod tour some expanded publicity and maybe TV time in the future.

LOL Spd , that could be one reason . but seriously even on the Dirt to Daytona game sevral of the modified tracks remind me of Thompson , Stafford and Jennerstown .

I agree that NASCAR would only use the Modifieds if it were to their advantage . anyone who has followed the division knows that NASCAR could care less about the division that started it all .

what they should do is have a list at the tracks so the drivers can sign up and put down the information needed to be put on to the game. It would save alot of time and money having sign up sheets at some of the most popular tour races

I agree Chris , I realy do not know what happened . I do know that most of the drivers were very pumped up about having their names and cars on the game . What went wrong only NASCAR and EA Sports knows.

yahhhhhhh no Sh. man I am so dissapointed. I read this thread on the 31st and was like cool I went yesterday and bought the game and guess what No real drivers. oh well next year

I also have purchased the game. The game is really detailed in each type of cars. The tracks you run on in the Whelen Mods are mostly very small tracks like Martinsville, Richmond, IRP and Millwalkie. Its a real good game. The closest thing to the reall drivers is making a car look like an Sk Driver's or A whelen Driver's car.
