Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Lots of weather in the New England area today, but nothing that appears to effect tonight's racing. We will bring you at least the podium finishes in most of the events scheduled this evening, but we may miss the last two features which are scheduled to be the Legends, (sorry Sue!) and the 2nd Sportsmen feature of the night due to prior commitments beyond our control. If anyone out there comes home and sees that the podiums are not up for those two features, we would really appreciate your assistance!
Tentative schedule for tonight:
1st Sportsmen Feature of (2)
Legends
Mini Stock
SK Modifieds
Late Model
2nd Sportsmen Feature (2 of 2)
24 SK's on hand tonight, and the three heat winners were, Frank Mucciaciaro, Diego Monahan, and Ronnie Silk respectively.
The 1st Feature of the evening has just taken the green! Be back with the results as soon as the checker drops!

Now that's a race for you! Knowing that they will be running again in a 2nd feature, caused the sportmen guys to run clean and green! The only altercation whatsoever was Joe Carusio and Dan Darnstadt on the last lap. Seems Joe wanted 4th badly enough to move Dan out of the way to get it! Nice run for Ed Gertsch in a rare Sportsmen appearance.
Top Five Sportsmen Finshers feature #1 of 2:
Billy Gertsch
Ed Gertsch
Norm Root
Joe Carusio
Dan Darnstadt
There may be a change to the schedule as the Legends are taking the track now..

Yeah Sue! There was a change to the schedule and the Legends feature is complete! So we are able to bring you the...
Legends Feature Top Five Finshers:
Jeffrey Paul
Jason Palmer
Vin Esposito
Len Beebe
Mark Bakaj
Remember all these finishes are unofficial until WSB and Nascar officials deem them so... We do make mistakes and report the finishes as the come off the checker visually and via the scoreboard. As we all know, with technical inspections and computerized scoring these results can change. A real racer understands...
The Minis are next!

Apparently quite the exciting end to the SK feature, with Rob Janovic making it three wide for the win and running out of track, spinning out, and making a nice big cloud of dirt for the SK's to drive through at the checker. The ultimate winner of this feature aggressively protected his lead, and was booed and heckled by the crowd while receiving the checker.
The SK Full Finish:
Frank Mucciacciaro
Robbie Summers
Tommy Fox
Ron Yuhas
Dennis Gada
Ronnie Silk
Rob Janovic
Mike Finkeldey
Chris Pastreyak
Jeff Pearl
Curt Lenihan
Don Fowler
Wendell Dailey
Ernie Bertran
Dennis Charette
Pete Pavone
Diego Monahan
Russell Lajoie
Shawn Monahan
Tyler Chadwick
Kevin Konopka
Jay Miller
Johnny Brouwer
The Late Model feature is already underway, and with 10 to go, Larry Goss spun out. Thinking he was spun by Moose Douton, he stopped on the back stretch and got out of his car, heading for Moose on foot. Moose also stopped, got out of his car and they were bumping chests on the back stretch...(maybe not literally), no punches were thrown, the officials intervened prior to any skin to skin contact! Finish coming up shortly.

Being that things have gone so well this evening we may be able to bring you at least the podium from the last finish of the night, the 2nd Sportsmen feature. Unless things fall apart and there is a lengthy red flag, we will have the results for you. Stay tuned, they are running now...

I think John Puglsi won in the 2nd race, (2)Perry and (3)Root
It was a fast night because they dont throw the caution no more after some one spins out on the track. They leave them there for five laps so they can get hit. Thanks to Johnny Brouwer for telling the officials that. It was a good night for the Yuhas camp. Started 17th and finished 4th. There was no outside groove which made a bad for passing race.
