The NASCAR Whelen Modified an NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour combination event at Martinsville Speedway will have a competition yellow at the halfway point . Aparently yhe main reason is the fact that most of the Southern teams are not propperly equipped fo pit stops .
Most events on the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour do not require pitting .
