Jack Bateman, President of the True Value Modified Racing Series announced today the signing of Close Call™, a new revolutionary breath drink, as the 2005 Rookie of the Year sponsor. TVMRS is currently accepting entries for 2005 Rookies to participate in the program. Pre determined drivers for Rookie of the Year will compete based on the year end points. Currently the series has received and approved applications from Luke Royea #2 of New Hampton, NH, Patrick Townsend #18 of Springfield, MA, Wayne Helliwell #66 of Pelham, NH and Tom Abele Jr. #32 of Norwich, CT. TVMRS will accept potential rookie applications through July 30, 2005. After July 30th TVMRS will announce the rookies that will be battling for the 2005 Close Call™ Rookie of the Year to be awarded at the season close.
