Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Another night of racing has begun at the Stafford Motor Speedway. After winning today's WMT race in Loudon NH., Ted Christopher helicoptered into the track to jump into his SK modified. The management at SMS has made sure the shedule this evening would accomadate TC, as the SK's will be the last race run tonight. This may change since he is already there but the schedule is as follows:
Limited Late Model
DARE
Late Model
SK
The qualifying races are complete, with Frank Ruocco winning the first SK heat and Keith Rocco taking the checker in the second. There are 22 SK's entered into competition tonight although John Sandberg wrecked in the second heat and is apparently irrepairable, and his brand new motor ripped open. He apparently had no injuries. Eric Berndt also wrecked in the second heat, and although the cosmetic damage seemed extensive, drove away and into the pits and may return to competition in the feature. Two new SK's were on hand tonight as the well-publicised return of Chris Jones is the talk of tonight. Is he there to retaliate? Time will tell. Also returning to competition was 2004 competitor Mike Marshall in the #02 SK.
Upon writing this the Limited Late Model feature took the checker with the top three as follows:
Limited Late Model Top Three:
Michael Bennett
Andrew Durand
Kevin Gambacorta

Well, here are some more takes from the life of MandyB:
Limited Late Models: I'm surprised that I haven't written to Arute yet. After this scenario, I think it's safe to say that I'm going to need to work on it soon. Another win by Bennett. He's going to win the title. I can say that much right now.
DARE Stocks: Another first-time winner in Robert Dow. The Harvick-look alike car was quite the car last night. I really thought that Siana was going to win, but I was wrong. Well, good job, Robert.
Late Models: Just one of those nights where someone just becomes a dominator. That person had to be Tom Butler. And I remember hearing that a green car was a bad luck charm. Well, that was put to bed, and the only thing that happened was Butler winning.
SK Modifieds: The real winner of this event was me. Another trip to Victory Lane was produced after 40 laps of racing from the ground pounders. I knew that once Ruocco took the lead, I was going to be down in the picture once the race was all said and done.
SK 100 is Friday, Late Model 100 is Sunday. Just a note: I will not be going to the Late Model 100 due to money management.
Do I have a raincheck? No, I don't. Two weeks ago, my mom was radioactive and couldn't be around people all that often, and the week after that, it rained.
Both Woody Pitkat and Mike Quintiliano were disqualified from their finishing positions in Friday night's Late Model feature. For information regarding this news, click on this link:
