BURLINGTON, VT - Ancillary benefits surrounding the American-Canadian Tour's September ACTion Super Series were revealed Tuesday (Sept 28) at a press conference in Burlington, VT. In addition to the revolutionary $10,000 Reserve Champion point fund for the competitors, ACT president Tom Curley announced that a fan ticket discount program would be instituted for the three races comprising the ACTion Super Series. Dubbed the "Bond Bonus," race fans will be able to save $5.00 per adult ticket purchased for the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic (Sept 4 at Thunder Road, Barre, VT), the REMAX National 150 (Lee USA Speedway, Sept 25) and the New England Dodge Dealers Milk Bowl (Thunder Road, Oct 1-2). "If a fan takes advantage of the Bond Bonuses, an adult general admission ticket for each of the three races will be only $15 which will make each of the ACTion Super Series events the best dollar value in New England short track racing bar none!" Curley revealed. In addition to the $5.00 discount coupon redeemable against an adult general admission ticket, fans attending all three races will be eligible to win a trip to Las Vegas (for two including air fare and accommodations). "Bond Auto's 30 plus stores will be advance ticket outlets for sales for their Labor Day Classic event - purchase a ticket in advance from Bond Auto and pay $15 instead of the $20 at the gate," Curley explained. He continued, "And when a fan purchases that ticket at Bond Auto, it will have a $5.00 tear off coupon valid for the REMAX National 150 at New Hampshire's Lee USA Speedway on Sunday, Sept 25. At Lee, the ticket a fan purchases will have a $5.00 coupon redeemable at Thunder Road's New England Dodge Dealers Milk Bowl (the New England Dodge Dealers are also doing a Super Discount coupon of their own that can be picked up at participating dealers, while supplies last)." To be eligible for the trip, fans must attend all three ACTion Super Series events. When a Labor Day Classic discount advance sale ticket is purchased from a Bond Auto store the fan will be issued a Bond Bonus game piece (one per adult ticket purchased). The first of the three races will be marked off. When the fan attends Lee USA's REMAX National 150, the game piece must be brought for an additional stamp. At Thunder Road's season finale, all properly completed cards will be entered into the drawing for the Vegas trip once the event's ticket has been purchased." "We see this special Bond Bonus program as a win-win for fans and Bond Auto," stated Mark Mast, marketing vice president, "And it will be great fun to see a lucky fan win the trip."
