Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Wow, am I way behind tonight! Almost 8:45 and two features have completed! So sorry guys...Bear with me!
Pre race news is that there was not only no TC, but no #13 at all. The rumors dispelled. I thought for sure that TC would have thrown on a Mike suit, but oh well.. Fairly good car count for the SK's as well, 23 cars.
"New" guys tonight are Ronnie Silk in his own car the #83, and returning to competition after a brief absense the #73 of Glen Griswold. Lloyd Agor has been told more than once tonight that he is the "hope for the future", but Lloyd, the racer that he is suggested that he would have preferred to race Teddy on the track and not on paper. Good for you Lloyd. Remember if Lloyd wins the feature tonight he ties up the points chase...
The DARE Feature Podium Results:
Jeff Hubbell
Charlie Newman
George Nocera
Tentative Schedule tonight is DARE STock, Late Model, SK, and Limited Late Model...
Tom Fearn was leading the Late Model feature with 5 laps to go, when on a restart he had mechanical difficulties and dropped from contention, rumored it was the tranny....
Late Model Top Five Finishers:
Mike Quintilliano
Ryan Posocco
Jim Mavlouganes
Scott Foster Jr.
Tom Butler
The Sk's are on the track now, we will be bringing you the results in the chatroom immediately as the checker drops.
JOIN US NOW IN THE CHATROOM, Stash could do it, so can you!!!
The SK's had what was called a fairly clean race, with only 3-4 cautions. One of the first cautions evidently removed Lloyd Agor and Frank Ruocco from the contention for the win. The next caution was a big one, with someone blowing a hose and causing a major pileup! Still the feature was completed fairly quickly and saw a first time winner in the SK division at Stafford.
SK Full Finish:(Unofficial, posted during Tech)
WOODY PITKAT- Sorry, sentimental favorite, proud of you buddy! Told ya, it would come soon!
Chuck Docherty
Willie Hardie Jr.
Ronnie Silk
Todd Owen
Jeff Baral
Donny Lia
Chris Osella
Eric Berndt
Mike Holdridge
Keith Rocco
Jeff Malave
Mark Anderson
Lloyd Agor
Kenny Horton
Chuck Mattison
Frank Ruocco
Jeff Johnson
Doug Coby
Glen Griswold
John Sandberg
Kirk Zervas
Curt Brainard
Full finish will be posted as soon as it becomes availabe to us. The Limited Late Models will be running the last feature of the night. SMS will be done by no later than 10:00pm...
Keep Watchin, or hey...we are still in the chat!

Wow, some free time on a Friday night. I'm gonna take advantage of this! But, remember special LIVE results chat in the MakingLaps.com chatroom, beginning tomorrow night 6/25/05 at approx 7:00pm. The SK's will be taking the track first so that they can clear out of the pits for the Whelen Modified Tour, and we will bring the results to those of you who can't attend. The Tour race will be covered as always by Modseriesscene.com, but we will be LIVE in the chatroom bringing you the results from all of Waterford's regular divisions and chatting about the TOUR.. Join us at 7!
Thanks to everyone who visited us in the chatroom tonight for the first time, hope you will be back! And to the regulars, thanks as always for a great chat, and a quick one!
The checker has dropped, we'll save a seat in the granstands for you tomorrow night, and of course, next Friday night!

It was an eventful night last night, that was for sure. Here are my weekly takes:
DARE Stock: Wow. My boyfriend (who works on the Rent-a-Racecar cars) and I were on the edge of our seat for the entire race. That was a special moment. Nice job, boys!
Late Models: Another win for Quintiliano. Gotta hand it to him; he knows how to get around the track. Chalk up another win for the 13 team.
SK Modifieds: The one race that I couldn't bare to see unless my favorites were on the track, not in their pit stall. But I loved the fact that Pitkat got his first SK win. Congratulations!
Limited Late Models: No letter to Arute this week. Durand stops Bennett right in his track, handing him a runner-up finish. Once again, I wasn't there to see it, so I couldn't tell you what happened.
Next week, a double hint of Stafford takes. We've got the Late Model 100 on Friday and the Tour on Sunday. Until then, commenting may begin.
