With the NE Dodge Dealers twin 100's being postponed due to rain , the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour could become a weekly series in September . The event is rumored to be rescheduled for the last week in September , meaning Thompson Speedway would host the Tour three times in a five week period . The 5/8th mile Connecticut track would host four of the final eight races on the 2005 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour .
