Sure Mandy, as soon as they post the results he will call with the full finish and I will post it. Sometimes it takes a few minutes if there was any controversy whatsover. They have had some good fields lately, well over 25 cars. I'll be back soon with the Mod full finish and the SPortsmen results, as soon as he calls. I do know Rob Summers was 6th.

The Legends feature is over with the #9 being victorious. I do not know the name of the driver, but tried to access the Waterford Speedbowl Legends roster and it was unavailable.
Ther was a major incident during the Legends feature with Jeffrey Paul flipping and landing on his roof, bringing out a Red Flag. The driver was uninjured and the race continued on.
The event was completed before 9:30pm.
Until next week, we'll save a seat in the stands for you.

Yeah Jeff Paul was going for his fourth straight Saturday legends win and third place ran him into the backstraight fence and Jeff went fliping and rolling. I think just about every one one agreed with him saying that the 52(?) of one Mckeyes(sp?) turned into him. Glad he is okay. The Sk race was terrible once again. To many overagressive moves that ended in accidents. Thanks to no one(Ronnie Silk) being able to match Frankie's restart game things kept kinda getting jamed up. One restart led to the #1 of silk jumping because the flag was waving and Frank didnt go that caused the rear of the field behind Frank to jam up. This ended up causing Ron Yuhas to get pushed from behind out of line then Kurt Lenahan smaked in to him and then on the restart Ron got a flat and spun . Then the 35 of Charette blew up and giving Rob Summers no place to go . In the end Frankie got passed after a single file restart(great make the race worse.... sheesh single file? boringish ) and that was the end of that. I hope what happened to Jimmy B (57) dont happen at the Nationals. The Minis were good and so were the stricklies. The minis were a good race because they went just about green to chcker and they had a two lap dash with Nick(Mark Martin) Papacoda holding off Brooksie and Danny. The stricklies were okay and a little crazy but with like one caution also. Congrat to Joe Carusio on his win . I like the old shcool Harry Gant Paint Job. The late model race was a Smash fest. It started with a spin out then Carl Ericson spun on a restart wrecking more cars. then himand Allen Coates smashing and Bashing with Ericson to get back to the front. Everybody at leat hit some one in that race. Congrat to my Man in the #35 Bruce Jr. for a great win . So it was again aa exciting racing night at the bowl. To top it off it was over at 9:15!!!....I think.
Hi Sue, glad you could help us out here! I really appreciate it. I tried to get the roster for the names as I said earlier, but with no luck. Can you get me to a site where that will be possible next time? This way when they call me with the car numbers I can cross referernce the roster and give the actual names.
We may open the chatroom later in the day, watch the Thompson thread for updates on the racing, and if and when I open the chatroom I will post it there.

brat.........try speednetdirect.com You have to do results then the track. There is a site there for drivers, but have to join. Having raced with these guys (or most of them) for the last few years, I know most. Just don't know all the new guys. I will check Thompson later. Thanks
Thanks so much for that link. We will defnitely use them. I was thinking of you specifically when we listed the winner, and the info on the wreck, but just couldn't find anywhere to get the driver names. I will be prepared next time! -b

Is the rescheduled modified nationals next weekend? I think the tour is the following weekend and I believe it was rescheduled for a date in June. If so, what is the general admission on that show.
You are correct csg. The Rescheduled Bud Nationals are on for this weekend Saturday, June 18th 2005, and the WMT event is scheduled to be held the following Saturday, June 25th 2005.
We aren't really sure about the prices for either event, but being that the Waterford Speedbowl office phone # is not a toll call for us, we can certainly give them a call and see what they have to say. I will get back to you after I can get this information.

Csg, I got through to the speedbowl this afternoon and spoke directly with Bill Roth the General Manager. He was adamant that the rescheduled Bud nationals were going to be the best deal ever! It is pretty good admission to the stands, only $20.00 and Rain checks will be honored. Tentatively the schedule is Practice, Pit Party, and Features. Qualifying has run for all divisions but the redraw for the SK's won't happen until feature time.
While I had him on the phone, I went ahead and ask him about grandstand admission for the Tour Show. He said "If you pay more than $25.00 you are losing out!" I guess they have set up many ways to get $5.00 dollars off the normal price of $30.00. you can present your BigY card at the gate, you can use any one of the three weeks of rainchecks for $5.00 off, you can purchase tickets at the Crystal Mall in Waterford, CT, or there are some convenience stores (I assume only local) that are handing out $5.00 off coupons.
We hope you make it down for this weekend, it ususually is a pretty good show!
