Jayski.com is reporting that Mike Ford, crew chief on the RYR #88 car for driver Dale Jarrett has stepped down from the position citing "family reasons".
According to the official release now on Nascar.com, RYR general manager Eddie D'Hondt was quoted as saying, "untill the right individual is found we will fill the role in house on an iterim basis".
RYR announced, that Billy Wilburn will on interim basis fill the role of crew chief on the #88 for driver Dale Jarrett. Wilburn, former crew chief for Rusty Wallace, and most recently for Brendan Gaughan's CTS team, will assume the role for now, until a permanent replacement is found.
