UPDATE: 10 laps into the PASS event an unamed driver blew a motor, Entering turn one the lead pack of cars had a major wreck involving Ted Christopher, Louis Mechalides Chuck Docherty, and Mike O'Sullivan, Apparently there were no injuries, but TC's PASS entry as well as Louis Mechalides' cars, both sustained heavy damage and will not return to the event. Not sure on the staus of Chuck Docherty or Mike O'Sullivan. After a long caution the event is underway again.

As the checker dropped on the PASS race it started to rain, and is raining now. As of yet they still have not called the show, the fans are waiting to hear.

Tough day for the Thompson Pro-Stock competitors entered in this PASS event, apparently none of them finished. Regular competitor and favorite of our own rowe24, Mike Rowe, was also a DNF.
We will let you know as soon as we hear on the conditions at Thompson, whether they will be able to continue today's event or not.
Update: Thompson was successful at drying the track and getting all the rest of the divisions racing in today. Click on the jump to drop down box at the bottom of this page and select Thompson International Speedway>Go>and then go to the 5/15/05 results thread for the podium results for the rest of the divisions run today. -- Edited by bratmaster at 17:24, 2005-05-15
