Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
The Thompson Pass event scheduled to run today is underway. The threat of rain looms, but the show is proceeding nicely. Currently the PASS event is under green flag racing, we will bring the podium results to you as soon as the checker drops in each division.
Results as of 4:00pm
So far they have completed 3 feature events:
The ALL Star Truck Series Feature was won by Bernie Singer
The Mini Stock Feature was won by the #21 car of Terry Boudreau
The Late Model Feature was won by Charles Bailey III
Charles Bailey III
Mark Palmazano
Rick Gentes
Woody Pitkat
UPDATE: 10 laps into the PASS event a unamed driver blew a motor, and laid fluid all over the track. Upon entering turn one the lead pack of cars had a major wreck (due to the condition of the track) involving Ted Christopher, Louis Mechalides Chuck Docherty, and Mike O'Sullivan, Apparently there were no injuries, but TC's PASS entry as well as Louis Mechalides' cars, both sustained heavy damage and will not return to the event. After a long caution the event is underway again.
We will return with more news as it arrives.

Tough day for the Thompson Pro-Stock competitors entered in this PASS event, apparently none of them finished. Regular competitor and favorite of our own rowe24, Mike Rowe, was also a DNF.
We will let you know as soon as we hear on the conditions at Thompson, whether they will be able to continue today's event or not.

The rain has stopped and they are drying the track. There are three divisions with features left to run, the Sunoco Mods, the Sportsman, and the Thompson Mods. Car count for the Thompson Mods today is 6 entries. They haven't decided what division will be running next and to say that they will be running the SK's next is only speculation. We will bring you the results from these divisions if and when they run.
