Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
(Naples, ME – May 12, 2005) The IBG PASS Series will be heading to Thompson International Speedway, E. Thompson, CT Sunday May 15th for a 2:15 p.m. start in the Thompson Pro Stock Shootout for 100 laps of green-flag action pitting the best of the southern New England super late model/pro stocks against the Infinity Business Group sponsored PASS touring teams.
It's the racing bargain of the upcoming weekend! For only $18 race fans will see IBG PASS qualifying, heats, consi(s), and 100 green-flag laps of PASS feature action, plus the Sunoco Modifieds, Late Models, Limiteds, Thompson Mods, the Minis, and the All Star Truck Series in features only. All that racing for only $18 makes Sunday May 15th at Thompson the place to be for fans and families this weekend. Pits open at 9AM, the grandstand opens at 10:00AM, and racing starts at 2PM.
In last October’s race, it was Scott Mulkern who became the tenth different PASS winner in 2004 in the Octoberfest 100. Ben Rowe, who chased Mulkern to the line last October, will be looking to build on his win at the IBG PASS opener at White Mountain. And after two rainouts at Oxford, everyone is anxious to get back to racing, so we can expect a full field of PASS teams including Thompson “favorite” Ted Christopher. We also expect many of the Thompson Pro stocks including Norm Wrenn, Chuck Docherty, Todd Owen, Liane Lombardi, and Dennis Maxfield to take advantage of the new PASS rules package for Thompson pro stocks. See the PASS website at www.proallstarsseries.com for the new Thompson rules.
