IRL driver Buddy Lazier, will test the Billy Ballew Motorsports #15 truck at the open truck series test, at the Lowes Motor Speedway. Lazier has some stock car type experience, as he has competed in the IROC series. Ballews regular driver Shane Hmiel because of commitments in the Nascar Busch series can not run all the CTS races, and the #15 team is apparently auditioning Lazier to possibly run the events Hmiel can not attend.
