The war of words continues, after Sundays "Royal Rumble" during the SK feature between TC and Civali. Here is an excerpt from a Speed51 article by Mike Twist with TC's comments on Civali:
I’m not intimidated by anyone,” said Christopher. “There’s a guy with no talent. I cleared the guy on the start and then he pulls in and drills me like friggin’ 10 men trying to get me of the way. He f****d himself up, so too bad for him. He’s a rich kid whose parents pay for everything. He doesn’t do anything. You know what they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree? It’s true, they are two idiots – the old man and his kid
And from Jason Christleys New London Day article, and excerpt of Civalis comments on his suspension from Stafford:
Nothing was ever said to me Sunday,” said Civali. “I went there to win the race. The track officials stole the race and I was just so pissed off that they stole the race from me that I just went home (and skipped tech). There was nobody in my path (in the paddock) and I wasn't going faster than anybody else does.”
Civali hadn't read the letter yet when he was asked about Arute's comments Wednesday night.
“Really? Wow,” Civali said. “I don't know what I did to think about an indefinite suspension. As far as actions on the track, I'm a very aggressive driver and I do not take blocking well. ... I don't know what (Arute's) problem is other than he loves Teddy and he hates me obviously.”
Boy everytime I hear about Teddy my opinion of him gets a little worst .Maybe he should be fined for cursing . Oh wait , this is T.C. we are talking about .. like he gets fined. Personally I hope to see Round two in the Bush race . That division could use a little excitement .
