Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Some notes from the Stafford practice: There were around 15 SK's, 23 Late Models, several Dare Stock's, and a light showing of cars for the new Limited Late Model division. From the transponder time sheets, the #7 SK of Willie Hardie recorded the fastest time of the day with a 19.307, and in the Late Models Tom Butler had the fastest time of the day with a 21.952. It was a clean day of practice with no major incidents. Also interesting to note besides cars from Staffords 4 regular divisions, 2 Busch North cars were on hand, an ISMA Supermodified, and a few NEMA midgets, and SNEM (Pro Fours) were also in attendance. Keith Rocco was very impressive in the #78 SK as he turned the 2nd fastest time overall on the day, and was consistently near the top of the time sheets. The #15 SK, normally driven by Jeff Johnson, was shaken down by WMT driver Zach Sylvester. And also, WMT and Stafford SK competitor Doug Coby jumped in the #15 to lend a hand to the team.
