The Minis have taken the checker and the podium finishers are as follows:
Scott Michalski
Brian Vincent
Randy Jurzik
We will be in the chatroom bringing the results live from every division! Follow the link to join the chat. Feel free to come and go or discuss the NNC race at Matinsville while your waiting from results from Thompson.
It was a very sad showing for the New Thompson Mod division, only 4 cars took the green, with a driver named Wanderson Olivera Paulo taking the check after a sympathy shortened feature of only 7 laps was run. The schedule had posted an intended 15 laps, I guess 7 laps was enough torture....
Thankfully, the ever popular Sunoco Mods are taking the green now....

In a caution riddled feature James Civali makes it a "twofer" and takes the checker in the Sunoco Mod division with Jeff Malave second and Josh Steeves third. Seems that Todd Ceravolo was being detained for a "cooling off" period in the infield after going after Russ Savoy after a wreck that also took out Bert Marvin. Other interesting notes, Bo Gunning blew a motor and Kerry Malone held on to finish the race after being involved in a couple of the many altercations in todays race.
Pro Stocks made it two laps before having a caution after a wreck takes out fan favorite Mad Dog Bessette!
Pro Stock results to follow....

The Pro Stock Feature saw Joe Lemay take the checker in the first position with Todd Owen finishing 2nd and Mike O'sullivan rounding out the top three. The Late Models are coming out, and after they complete their feature, the beloved Whelen Modified Tour will be running their first race of 2005.

Charles Bailey III of Southern Ct, wins his first race of 2005, with Rick Gentes and Woody Pitkat 2nd and 3rd respectively. Of local interest, our own Corey Hutchings, 2004 champion, was running second with only 3 laps to go, when mechanical problems forced him from the race.
The long anticipated WMT is taking the track now!

Make sure that you go to Modseriesscene.com for the complete finish. After a very controversial last lap Ted Christopher takes down the win for the 2005 Thompson Internationa Speedway's Annual Icebreaker. The 15 and 50 were 2nd and 3rd respectively.
THE CHAT ROOM IS NOW ClOSED! Thanks to everyone who made todays LIVE CHAT a total success, and to all those eyewitnesses at the track who stayed on the phone all day!
