Reigning ACT champion Patrick Laperle finished third Saturday in the Crate Late Model feature at New Smyrna Speedway.
The second feature for the division as part of the nine-night World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at the track was won by Hendrick Motorsports developmental driver Landon Cassill. Cassill competed in the NASCAR Camping World East Series last year.
Laperle finished seventh in Friday nights opener.
