Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Will Kimmelyes, another Kimmel will try and follow in his uncle Frank's footsteps in the ARCA Series. Kimmel will attempt the season-opening Slick Mist 250 presented by Lucas Oil. Kimmel paced the field in a practice session on Dec. 21. Will is the nephew of nine-time champ Frank Kimmel, and will pilot the No. 44 Kimmel Racing Ford in the 80-lap event.
ARCA will kick off its 2009 season on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 4:15 p.m.
Expectations will be high for Will, carrying the name of the most dominant driver in the ARCA Series to date.
It should be interesting to see how well he fares this year.
