Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
From some of the scuttlebutt I have heard, and from some posts I have seen on other boards, it appears there could be more to the story involving Ted Christopher driving the #79. Rumor has it, things are not to "peachy" these days between TC and his car owner, and also rumor has it that Flemke was willing and available to run the Smart event at Caraway, but the Hills "chose Teddy". This could be nothing more than what its been stated to be, or it could be the first big "shocker" of the 05 season. Either way, we will all be watching this one........
With the news that Eddie Flemke Jr. is now officially out of the Hillybilly #79, Shawn Courchesne of the Hartford Courant is reporting that Roger Hill will meet with Mike Christopher, this weekend, to examine the possibility of filling the the drivers seat for the 2005 season.
"Right this minute I don't have a driver," Hill stated. "but we'll be at the opener wether I have a driver or not even if I have drive the thing."
This whole deal gets more and more interesting by the minute. I have a "feeling" you are going to see one of the "C'S" in the #79, whether its MC or TC remains to be seen.
