Steve Blackburn set the mark early on Friday at Daytona Int'l Speedway; and then raised the bar later on. Blackburn, in his own Dodge Charger, continued his run at the top of the speed charts in day one of ARCA RE/MAX Series open testing at the "World Center of Racing".
The Prestonsburg, Kentucky driver increased his speed during the afternoon session to post the fastest overall lap of the day with a time of 49.736 seconds, an average speed of 180.955 mph..
