Have seen a RUMOR POSTING of a possible Southern Tour event a Bristol Motor Speedway. Personally I find that one hard to believe. South Boston Speedway is also RUMORED to join the Southern Tour schedule in 2009. And Lanier Speedway is RUMORED to have asked for two Southern Tour dates in 2009.

Put a plate on them and send them off on a friday night before the cup guys =the greatest show on earth JMO

I would asume you mean Bristol Bow. A plate would be an excellent idea, but I believe the bigger problem would be wheel hubs.

I know that in the past Dover had been a considered track, and most teams said there would be an issue with the wheel hubs. 

But I know I would LOVE to see Modifieds at Bristol!!!!!

The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour WILL(per tracks website) compete at South boston (VA) Speedway on April 4th.

Stafford Motor Speedway CONFIRMED dates:

Apr 26th - SPRING SIZZLER 200
May 22nd - CONNECTICUT CLASSIC 150
Aug 7th - STAFFORD 150  
Oct 4th - FALL FINAL 150

Posts at RaceNY.com claim that the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will return to both Chemung Speedrome and Spencer Speedway in 2009.

On the Chemung speedrome website it says that the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour WILL return in 2009. The race will be run in August rather than October in 2009.

RUMOR has a July 10th NASCAR whelen Modigfied tour event at Lee USA Speedway. The RUMOR also has the Tour competing during Oktoberfest Weekend.

Unless the True Value Modified Racing Series and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour are running on the same night, the July 10th race is only a RUMOR.

The Oktoberfest date is also apparently just a RUMOR as the True Value Modified Racing Series will be competing that weekend.

The newest RUMOR is a North/South combination race August 19th along with the Camping World Truck Series.
