Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Aparently Robby Gordon's new team hit a bit of a stumbling block on Friday, as they were found to be running an illegal intake manifold. Gordon is running engines from Menards, which is a top engine builder in Indy car racing, but new to Nascar circles and the manifold was not up to Nascar specs. His car was also found to have an underpan that didnt pass inspection.
Jeff Gordon's #24 also had an underpan that didnt pass inspection, along with Dale Earnhardt Jr having a transmision with an unaproved gear ratio.
