Seekonk Speedway forced to cancel the Dels Lemonade 100 for the True Value Modified
With a steady rain until mid afternoon, a forecast that showed more of the same for the evening, and rain in surrounding areas, Seekonk management was forced to cancel the Del's Lemonade 100 for the True Value Modified Racing Series. At this time, there is no reschedule date for this event.
The True Value Modifieds return to Seekonk Speedway on October 11 and 12 for the annual DAV Memorial weekend, as they round out their 2008 season. Also on the card for that weekend is a 100 lap open competition Pro Stock event, 50 lap Late Model feature, 25 lap Street Stocks, 25 laps for the Seekonk Sport Trucks, the Seekonk Youth Racing Association, the Pure Stocks, NEMA Midgets, and NEMA Lites.
Saturday racing returns Saturday, September 6 for the Phil's Propane 50 lap Late Model main event, with the Pro Stocks, Street Stocks and a 30 lap, double point main for the Seekonk Sport Trucks.
